After Mr. Rebello pasted away we inherited some of his books.
Of course the gentleman he left them to, a friend of ours, picked over the library and skimmed off the cream... as he should have. The rest we received. So no Porters or Lundys.
Much of the titles are murder related. If it mentioned Lizzie Borden, Len Rebello had it sitting on his shelf. Even if the mention of Lizzie was just one line on one page. Such is the bibliomania many of us are inflected with.

My favorite of all the titles is, Born in a Bookshop by Vincent Starrett. Mr. Starrett was a writer, newspaper reporter, and bibliophile. Wrote several books about book collecting. In his title Born in a Bookshop there is just one line including a reference to Lizzie Borden where he mentions a friend who gifted him a signed Lizzie letter. My interest is the meat and subject matter in the book and not any reference to Lizzie.
