My son loves to monkey with avatars and his PS Pro 8 program can resize any photo very easily.
He can also tweak them to look clearer, lighter, etc.

If anonye wants a specific one... Email the original to martinfamily@mail15.com and put avatar in the subject. Alax will be happy to help. (really-- and this isn't just mom making him do it!)

He can also resize photos to fit into your profile and/or photo album.

It really is no trouble.

Allow me to be your poster girl, Audrey. Don't you all agree that I look tres chic since Audrey's makeover?

Of course Alax will help you.

Email the photo/graphic you want as an avatar and he will send it back as soon as he can. It will be this evening. If you want a larger one for your profile attach it as well and just specify which one you want for which purpose.

You look pretty old Lydia, but you have looked old for a century!
So this is your makeover- very sharp, I must say.
(Makeovers are very *IN* right now).

I *did* a bit of work on Nancie myself, on that other pic, but it wasn't used. I think because she didn't know how to collect the picture from me, that's all.

That is a nice offer, Audrey.

Harry and I looked up the word AVATAR.
Does Alax know what the definition is?

The term "avatar" comes from Hindu mythology, and originally was the name of the temporary body that a God uses when visiting Earth. In virtual communities, an avatar is a graphical representation of a participant. Avatars may also be called "characters", "players", "residents", or "citizens".

Thanks Audrey!!! You've answered a question that has been hanging over my head since I first got on the internet, I always wondered where that strange term came from for the little pics next to people's names.

I had sent my pix to Audrey a week before and
no response, Kat tried but I couldn't retrieve it, then
Kimberly worked on another and sent me the avator.
Just want to set the record straight!

I am sorry Nancie...

I never did get it or I would have been sure Alax sent it back.

Alls well than ends well... You look enchanting

Very clever!

Avatars can be 90 pixels. PSP8 can resize via pixels.

Profie photos can be 150 pixels.

There are many free photo resize programs available on the net. One good one is at: http://www.imageresizer.com/

Like with all downloads you make from the web use your virus check program before executing it. Also make a copy of the photo before you begin to tinker with it.
