Think Before You Post
The most important rule of netiquette is Think before you post. If what you intend to post will not make a positive contribution to the Lizzie Borden Society Forum and be of interest to several readers, don't post it! Personal messages to one or two individuals should not be posted to this forum, use private e-mail instead.
Posting
Re-read and edit your posting carefully before you post. Check the spelling and grammar. Don't post test messages - wait until you have something to say. When posting humorous or sarcastic comments, it is conventional to append a smiley, but don't overuse them.
Multiple Posts
If you wish to respond to more than one post in a thread, please combine the responses into one post and indicate to whom you are replying by referring to them by their username. Posting many times in a row in the same thread takes up much needed space on our server.
