My profile was wrong (don't know why), but I will accept your wishes early! I always wanted a birthMonth instead of a birthDay!
My birthday is the 19th.
Thanks everyone!!!

i'm glad you clarified this. i used to think it was april 19th with the sun in aries. i remember thinking i knew this -- then i saw a different date somewhere else -- and have been confused ever since -- though i've always thought you were an aries. so my first idea was correct then.

In that case, we need to be celebrating your month with very special food and drink. Break out the pears and cookies! Have a banana!Stefani @ Fri Mar 31, 2006 8:46 am wrote:My profile was wrong (don't know why), but I will accept your wishes early! I always wanted a birthMonth instead of a birthDay!

Thank you everyone!! I had a great day.
I normally don't like to work on my birthday and usually try to take the day off, but it is the last full week of school (next week is finals) and I had three classes today to say goodbye to because I didn't have a final scheduled for them. So there is a happiness there that the class is over, but it is tinged with sadness because the class is over---know what I mean?
Well, the first class was great (script analysis) because we spent the time in the cafeteria ---our classroom was like 65 degrees! We chatted about what was good about the class and what I should change about the class for next time. It was a warm session.
Then the next class right after that one is my Intro to Theatre class and this group was fantastic all semester long. I walked into the room and they all yelled Surprise!! I got a surprise party! It was wonderful. And so they ate and took their last test together (i had them work as a class to take the test, with everyone talking out the answers and only turning in one test with everyone's name on it). It was a very communal experience and the food was cookies and skittles and soda and chips and dip.
Right in the middle of everything a huge bouquet of flowers arrived from the Administrative Assistant to my department! With a balloon and everything! It was so sweet of her to send me flowers!
Then the third class was right after that one in another buidling and that was good too, but we really stuck to business because they had several assignments due and this class is less chatty than the others---more reserved I guess you would say. But we said goodbye to one another and several said they would sign up for other classes I teach.
Then I came home and my boyfriend and I went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and drove around the mansion areas of our town, taking in the evening. Then home for Amazing Race, GhostHunters, and Top Chef.
It was a tremendous day and I want to thank all of you for sending me your best wishes! I feel warm all over!!!
