I feel left out
How does one gain admittance to the private forum?
"We shall board our imagined ship and wildly sail among sacred islands of the mad til death shatters the fabulous stars and makes us real."

I know how you feel.
I, too, used to click on the link to Lizzie's Privvy, only to be denied access. I would click on it everytime I visited the forum, always expecting to be denied and always getting what I expected!
Then, one-not-so-very-special day, I clicked on it. I didn't excpet anything but the usual denial...but low and behold! I GOT IN!!! I WAS ACCEPTED INTO THE PRIVVY!!!
I don't know how it happened...or why it happened...but it happened!
Maybe a member has to have a certain number of posts, or be a member for a certain length of time. Or maybe you just have to ask for permission from Lizzie to enter her sacred Privvy!

LIZZIE BORDEN'S THEME SONG
(to the tune of Green Acres)
Fall River is the place to be,
city living is the life for me.
Bought a nicer house,
so big and wide!
Forget 92 Second Street,
that's where I was charged with homicide!

so big and wide!

And you know what? There's really not a whole lot in the Privy that's any different from what's in the other areas.
I've never been able to figure out what the big deal is.

Harry was right- it is 25.
It's set into "groups" here- you advance the more you post.
If someone sticks around long enough to *advance* they are probably serious about the case.
It comes as a feature of this Forum, so it's figured why not use it?
There's some private member stuff in there, after all.

"Busting your chops" is a NYC expression that means really working hard, or sweating efforts. Not really applied to typing replies just to increase the msg count.Kat @ Fri Aug 18, 2006 1:21 pm wrote:If *busting your chops* means you had to read a few topics in order to "Reply" that's OK isn't it?
Isn't that interesting? A mysterious poster disappers, and another one shows up. I won't comment on that since it would be premature.
It was Farmer William in the Bedroom with the Hatchet.
