How does one gain admittance to the private forum?

Access to the Privy is controlled by the number of posts you make. I believe the threshhold is 25 posts.

I know how you feel.

I, too, used to click on the link to Lizzie's Privvy, only to be denied access. I would click on it everytime I visited the forum, always expecting to be denied and always getting what I expected!

Then, one-not-so-very-special day, I clicked on it. I didn't excpet anything but the usual denial...but low and behold! I GOT IN!!! I WAS ACCEPTED INTO THE PRIVVY!!!

I don't know how it happened...or why it happened...but it happened!

Maybe a member has to have a certain number of posts, or be a member for a certain length of time. Or maybe you just have to ask for permission from Lizzie to enter her sacred Privvy!

And you know what? There's really not a whole lot in the Privy that's any different from what's in the other areas.

I've never been able to figure out what the big deal is.
I've met Kat and Harry and Stef, oh my!
(And Diana, Richard, nbcatlover, Doug Parkhurst and Marilou, Shelley, "Cemetery" Jeff, Nadzieja, kfactor, Barbara, JoAnne, Michael, Katrina and my 255 character limit is up.)

Harry was right- it is 25.
It's set into "groups" here- you advance the more you post.
If someone sticks around long enough to *advance* they are probably serious about the case.
It comes as a feature of this Forum, so it's figured why not use it?
There's some private member stuff in there, after all.

If *busting your chops* means you had to read a few topics in order to "Reply" that's OK isn't it?
I would hope it would be at the least entertaining.

"Busting your chops" is a NYC expression that means really working hard, or sweating efforts. Not really applied to typing replies just to increase the msg count.
Isn't that interesting? A mysterious poster disappers, and another one shows up. I won't comment on that since it would be premature.

You really like to start trouble don't you Rays? The mysterious poster you refer to hasn't gone anywhere, she probably has you on her IGNORE list.
