Happy Birthday Shelley!
Have a super day!

I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find

Thanks everyone! What lovely cards above too. It was a great weekend with Lizzie friends and family. Lee Ann has a birthday tomorrow so we had matching pumpkin cakes and the 12 guests sang last night after the house tour. The Abbey Grille in Lizzie's old church also sent over tiramisu and cheescake. Cake takes the sting out of ageing!
This morning Len stopped by to take me to one of his famous hidden Fall River breakfast spots (known only to real natives) and my daughter, who knows what I love took me to see The Black Dahlia and then out for a shrimp scampi dinner followed by a drive along the ocean and more cake, Godiva chocolates, Victorian goodies and Edward Gorey jewelry. My Florida daughter sent Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride and other macabre films on my list. Great kids.
I had some fun re-creating some more vignettes at the house to share later. Especially challenging was getting Lizzie's Wednesday night return light right. The guests were in the spirit to help and we did some experiments -one of which was a real eyeopener. Fresh eyes are wonderful to cast new possibilites on the old story.
Life is good- even if ARRP did inform me I am a Golden Ager now. Maybe I get a discount at the cineplex now?
