Lizzie Gone Wild

Post by SteveS. »

I just found this interesting link to a movie called AXE http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1109634 ... p?select=1 The teenage girl star of the movie is named “Lisa”. Lisa could be a 1974 contemporary version of Lizzie and the movie should be called “Lizzie Gone Wild”. LOL

Here's the movie's synopsis:

After terrorizing a convenience store salesgirl with tomatoes, three lowlifes on a crime spree hide out at an isolated farmhouse occupied only by teenage Lisa and her pathetically paralyzed grandpa. Bad move, guys, for while Lisa looks innocent enough, she's actually a ticking-time-bomb-of-psychotic-aggression who spends her days killing chickens, feeding raw eggs to her granddad, staring blankly into space, and hallucinating blood on a mirror. So when the three numbskulls add Lisa to their list of people to abuse, she promptly puts an end to their antisocial activities with the help of her two best friends, a straight-edge razor and her handy Axe.

Some may take a liking to this flick, but for me, it seems (according to their synopsis) the only thing this lead character has in common with our Lizzie is that her name begins with L, and there is an axe involved. Sorry SteveS, this version of the teenage slasher movie genre just doesn't cut it for me...no pun intended.

I posted this just for sh… and giggles. Hence the smiley face lol. I was searching for axe murders when I came across this movie. In my warped sense of humor I transposed Lisa for Lizzie and as far as the murders go……well, you don’t need to AXE ! LMAO
