To the New Yorkers

Post by Cheryl »

Just got back from NYC and knew there were some New Yorkers on the site. Had to comment how much fun my mom, daughter and I had in your city.

Stayed on Times Square-FUN!!!!!!

Loved the taxi drivers, the in-your-face attitudes, the hustle & bustle --
loved it all. Just wanted you folks to know how lucky you are to live in a place so alive!

I'm glad you enjoyed the Big Apple, Cheryl. I've never been there myself but a friend of mine flys to NY frequently for her TV work. She say's it is very fast-paced but a lot of fun too. I don't know why but when I think of NY City I think of the opening scenes of the '60's TV show "That Girl" as Marlo Thomas buzzes around. I'd love to see it one day.

NYC is da bomb. I saw Vanessa Redgrave in "The Year Of Magical Thinking" this past spring at the Boothe Theater (named for Edwin Boothe, brother of John Wilkes, Stef) on Broadway. One of my all-time favorite actresses in an amazing role.
