I've been watching you

I paid for a nifty new company to track the different visits to several of my various Lizzie sites. The company tracks unique visitors so the number is a great one for marketing purposes.

I wanted to share with you some truly remarkable numbers!

The account I signed up for only allowed for a total of 10000 visits a month and I hit that limit in less than 14 days. The interesting thing is the way it presents the info to you, in a heatmap visual. really kewl.

The Lizzie Borden Society Forum had 5759 unique visits in 14 days, distributed thusly:

The Main Page of LizzieAndrewBorden.com had 2532 unique visits in the same 14 day test period.

The Library of LizzieAndrewBorden.com had 961 unique visits in the same time frame.

And the Main Page of The Hatchet: Journal of Lizzie Borden Studies, reached a total of 495 unique visits in 14 days!

Mondo Lizzie had 143 unique visits in the same 14 days. I think I need to post more!

Atta Girl Stef!
The Production Company that made the video, Lizzie Borden Had An Aze found Stefani & myself through this website! They also used Stefani's help with pictures and with giving them tips on who else they should contact for interviews.

That map is very cool!

Two stars are born!

I think it's wonderful the way computer technology is advancing and the things it can do. I like the way this "heat map" lets you see in graphical terms (not words) what people are clicking on. I like that. It's like the difference between reading a description of a mountain and seeing a color photograph of it.

Stefani - Thats over 11,000 hits a month! Nice going!

Kat - Have you and Stefani been recognized on the street by people who have seen you two on TV? The day may come when you two have to stock up on some Ray-Bans. "Please, no autographs, no, no autographs. I'm sorry, no autographs."

The Virtual Library alone is a treasure. Add to that a forum, a magazine and a blog and you have it all. Way to go Stef!

What a novel way of showing where people are going. Very unique.

Personally, I wondered about the "orbs". Perhaps the Borden ghosts are keeping track of their media presence?
