Today is 92 degrees out at French Street.... at Maplecorft.
Still beats this: (though it is a pretty sight)

Re: Some Like it Hot!
Yesterday we had a temp that was in the high 80s along with high humidity. As you know, the humidity makes it feel much warmer than it actually is. Did you also have some humidity yesterday?
I agree, the photo you provided above is beautiful.

Yes we did, humidity supplied free of charge.
The next day was 10 degrees cooler and it felt like it was 20 or 25 degrees cooler.... due to low humidity.
I remember spending some time in Brazil many years ago. We were at the beach. My host told me to place a shirt and hat on; that I would be burnt in no time if I did not. I thought the temperature was in the seventies or perhaps the low eighties. It was actually 104.
That was my first experience with the value of humidity on temperature.

Re: Some Like it Hot!
Humidity really does play havoc with us human beings. A low temperature with high humidity: feels much colder than it actually is. A high temperature with low humidity: doesn’t feel too bad. BUT, a high temperature with high humidity, feels downright evil!!!
I found an interesting article on the deception of humidity, that I think you may also find interesting: http://tinyurl.com/ybmvukol
