Somebody just sent me this interesting little tidbit:

On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.

Neat. That worked even better in the 7th century.

Reminds me of the Applo 13 blast off. Everything happened in "13s."

That would be the 800's, right? I don't think that works.

BTW: Was there a *13* flap around that Apollo mission? What was it, do you know?

Maybe I should have said "7 hundreds", as in the year "706", or "the 6th year of the 700's" since 7 follows 6.

If I remember right, the Apollo 13 launched on the 13th hour, the 13th second on Friday the 13th. I'll have to watch the film again to see if I got that straight. Then it blew up. How ironic.

I had to write the date on some papers at school...it was fun writing it. My students had a hard time grasping the idea that it would be another 100 years before it happened again.

Lizzie would've been alive the previous time it happened. Think she noticed? Nah.

OK, I remember this one six years ago: 01:01:01 01/01/01.

Not as cool of course but hey, I was waiting for Y2K. It didn't happen in 00 so I thought it might sneek up on us in 01.

Had my paternal grandfather been born four years earlier he would have turned 55 on 5/5/55.

The first day of summer vacation one year in high school was 6/6/66.

My brother turned 23 on 7/7/77.

My date of birth is 1,2,3,4,5 in a different sequence.
