Oh, thanks! RayS told me to wait until December 4th to celebrate my birthday(which I found odd, because, well, that's the day it is)!
It's been a pitsy day at work, and I'm off in a while to rehearse a song for tomorrow night's BMI workshop - I'm in the chorus of someone else's piece, which I love doing.
Your wishes mean so much to me! Thanks again!

Happy Birthday, Bob! Looks like Lizzies going to sit this one out in her steamer chair on the piazza building castles in the sky. But, hope you get out yourself and celebrate!

I got phone calls from all of my siblings, and Jay got us tickets to A CHORUS LINE (which I knew about), a new bottle of Vetiver de Guerlain cologne (which I'd asked for) and a brand-new recording of Handel's MESSIAH (a welcome surprise - I usually add a version to my collection every year)).
Susan, I love that print! It's as if one lady is telling another "You have no idea how many little 'gifties' I can stuff into these sleeves while shopping!"
Once again, thank you all!

Bob, whose performance of "Messiah" did you get this year?
I belonged to a group that sang it every year. Our conductor put together his own performing edition of it. While it was a great experience to sing, one wants to sing other things as well--but they don't pack the seats the way "Messiah" does!
