So with this being the big the Memorial Movie weekend, just wondering what everyone is looking forward to seeing this summer.
For me, it's Harry Potter, of course, but there is also a movie with John Cusack coming out (I think it's called 1408) that looks awesome.
Do you think it's about time for a new Lizzie movie? I loved "Legend" with Elizabeth Montgomery of course, but it would be nice to see something different and new.
Best last movie I saw was "The Queen".

Hi Pammie-
My daughter's really looking forward to Harry Potter as well (she's almost 13 and has read every book at least 4 times a piece). As for me, I've only read book #1, so I'm a bit behind. I just started a summer long bible study on Christian authors & fantasy...started with C.S. Lewis and
will discuss themes in Tolkein's and J.K. Rowling's works as well.
I've never seen The Queen. I really want to see that!
Last movie I saw that I really enjoyed was Borat.

Hi Pammie!
In "coming attractions" on TV, that movie "The Queen" seemed to show Dame Helen Mirren with soulful, sympathetic eyes.
The Queen does not have an expression like that- not even when she was crying in public when her yacht Britannia was decommissioned.
I think she is rather cold. I've put off seeing the movie because of this. I mean, an actress like Ms. Mirren can give some really good acting spin on the Queen.
Did it seem realistic?
