That is a bit much but neat. I like the phone number. How would you get that phone number, offer to buy it from the person who has it? Wait in line for it?

I saw a septic tank truck one day with a logo that read, "We're #1 In The #2 Business." Also a sewer line roto-rooter type business with a phone number, "1-XXX-XXX-CRAP." Tacky but funny.

You're right - those are tacky, but funny. However, they are quite cleverly thought out.

I like the phone number for Lizzie's House Cleaning Services, too, Steve. This notice is also well thought out even if the number of whacks are incorrect. Someone had to a lot of time on their hands.

I attempted to enlarge the notice, but could not get it any larger - I would sure like to know what is written under the words "House Cleaning Services" - I think the first two words are: Windows & Carpets; not real sure of the word carpets, but after that it is too blurred. Dang!!!

Looks like carpets to me too. Then it's Drapery and I believe Washing. Then the next 2 I can't make out and the last Bathrooms.

Lizzie do housework? Pshaw!

Mystery Solved! The questionable part of the advert there reads:

Windows, Carpets, Drapes, Waxing, Dust, Stains, Bathrooms

Alright, Harry and Doug!!! I still can't quite make out if the word after Drapery is Washing or Waxing; guess it could be either, however, I think we did a terrific job of figuring the words out. GOOD JOB, YOU GUYS!!! THANKS, to both of you!!!

BTW: I asked my husband if he could make the words out - after making an honest attempt, his response was "No, not all of them, but maybe you should try calling that 800 number to find out what it says." I won't post my response to that!!!

Well, she was in the process of ironing her own handkerchiefs on the morning of the 4th. (Page 62 (19) of the Inquest Testimony) Guess we gotta give her credit for that.

Its "Drapes" and "Waxing." ("Washing" isn't used anywhere on the thing.)

Oh, yeah - I can see the word Waxing, now. Guess I just needed to take a break from it for awhile. Thanks, Doug.
