During this holiday season, I found some "Jelly Belly" candy canes. The box I bought contains: Very Cherry, Cotton Candy and Juicy Pear. I don't know how they captured such a pear flavor, but it's fantastic.

Aaaahhhh yes, candy canes are not what they used to be, (well the red and white ones are almost always peppermint) but the grandkids have given me blue and white striped that are blueberry and green and white which are spearmint, and a purple and white one that was grape! All very good, but some how just not as Christmasey as the good ole red and white ones!!I always buy a couple of boxes of the red and white ones to put on the tree, and magically they disapear before the tree gets taken down. And I get the small red and white ones to tape on the envelope of the Christmas cards I hand out, makes them a little more festive.

That's nice, to put a small one on your Xmas cards you hand out.
I love Hershey's candy canes that are mint/chocolate. Sigh! Now I gotta go get a candy cane.

Hi Augusta - Sorry to hear your problem rash hasn't cleared up.
I had two aunts who lived together - both were constantly getting rashes.
When they stopped dying their hair (bleach?) the problem disappeared almost magically - I know this isn't your problem since you're not a "user."
My son gets hives every time he encounters a situation that makes him nervou - dermatologist said,"Don't get nervous.' - yeah, like push a button and it will stop.

I know what you mean about getting nevous and breaking out, my son also would break out in hives when he got upset, bad enough to go to the E.R for a shot. That was during puberty, once he got through that, he finally out grew it. So, it basically was the chemical changes going on in his body that were reacting badly to his being upset. Or that was my take on it anyway. We were all relieved when it finally ended!
