Let's Meet at Borden house in Aug!

Post by Nona »

Okay,

I don't just want to talk about it ............I want to go and see and expierience. I have a feeling maybe somethings maybe clearer upon actually being there.

I think it would be grovvy if some of us all showed up for the same days and got to talk about it within a serious intrest some sight seers don't have.

Is anyone intrested. And yes Im serious!

Maybe we can all put our 2 cents in and renact our theroies while we are there.

I have planned to go back this summer, but am not sure when I can do it. It all depends on what our schedules turn out to be. I'm not sure when school starts back up again next semester. But I would be interested in meeting some of you all myself.

Staying in the rooms alone is not that bad. I have stayed in Lizzie's room and the guest room. Slept like a baby. I haven't decided which room for next time...hmmm.

Do you snore???

How do you feel about having one small bag thus allowing your traveling companion to have 5-6 large ones?

I think, aside from the history and lack of hallways, it's a SWELL house! Having grown up in a tiny three-bedroom second-floor walk-up in Woodside, Queens, Lizzie's room looked huge to me!

And I, too, slept like the proverbial baby in the guest room, with my hubs at my side.

And I should mention this I want nothing to do with the Ouigi (spelled wrong someone help me out) board. I'd probably take a walk or something during that part.why you ask.........

It's not becuase I don't believe in it .....I do believe it is definitly more than a game........and have more than enough expieriences from friends that I don't want to expierience it:)

I agree Nona...no Ouija board for me either. My experience the last time at the house made me think..."OK...I tried it..the end".

I think that would be great!! We could spend a weekend or something trying to be sleuths, reconstruting the crime and see if we can come up with a solution to what happened. It'd be great!

check the prices for the rooms on the website. Think we could swing it if we pool the money together. I know it said something about you could have a single room or put two of them together and make it a suite. Whatever suits everyone.

i Think I read it's 200 a night for 3 of the rooms 150 for others.

It would be nice to have the whole house for us all, can that be done?

Whoever has been there do they just allow you to roam the whole house wherever you want? so we can reenact some things or go to whatever part we have questions about? How does it work anyhow?

I am sure we could book the whole house and maybe get a group rate if we called well enough in advanced.

I looked on the website and it mentioned group tours...you'd have to call about a group rate of the lizzie borden society taking over the B&B hahahaha

Okay.after being in the archives........I finally got off my butt and called the Band B.

Dee ansered the phone and was wildly happy the group was thinking about maybe coming down!!!!!!!!

She asked about Kat and Stephani and harry and the other "long timers" in our group........she was genuinly so happy she said I quote if we decide to go she wants to be part of it as she said "pick me up Ill be at the house!"

SO WE HAVE TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!

she sounded sooooooooo sweet. She said to call back on thursday to talk to Leanne about "special rates" she may giva a bigger discount cuz it's for us.

SO please lets everyone be serious for a minet......any questions anyone want me to ask please post for me
