 Has anyone ever thought that maybe emma might have hired the killer? This topic might have been discussed, I was just curious. I mean, I don't ever remember ever reading that they really looked at emma really hard. They seem to just excuse her saying she was out of time. But what a perfect aliby if she did hire some one to kill her parents. :silly:

Good thought snookums. That would solve a lot of questions. Can you think of how it might have worked?

Emma could have gotten someone to do the killing and had an albi because she was out of town. Make it look like lizzie did it. Or maybe lizzie really did doit who knows

LIZZIE DID NOT DO IT....Have you ever heard the 1981 audio version that was aired on WOR radio? Yes this was a theatrical reenactment that clears Mrs. L. Borden. Ebay has the CD for auction at this time.

It clears Mrs. L. Borden ??? Plus, I am just a bit suspicious from reading the eBay discription of this item. My strongest suspicions are in bold/italics:

Ok hatchet fans, your in for a real treat! This auction is a well acted out version designed to clear Ms.Lizzie Borden of any wrong doing! You will recieve a copy of an audio CD that has such a fantastic twist to it, your going to doubt her guilt just as I do! A MUST HEAR radio program that was aired 24 years ago, & will inspire chilling thoughts as you relive the MURDERS of that faitful hot August day in 1892. This is NOT recommended for young children. This 45 minute uninterupted story is great listening while driving, or with the lights turned down on a quiet night! I've searched the Lizzie sites & nobody has mentioned this totally weird program. The impact of this version is plausable, containing facts about the case you probably do not know of, & has left a permanet impression on me for the last 24 years! Buy it, its better than any of the book versions I have read. Truthfully, I like it even better than the made for TV version.

better than any of the book versions I have read - Have you read Rebello ?...or do you mean just the entertainment factor ?

I like it even better than the made for TV version - I think most of us here know the TV version is NOT totally accurate. Again, maybe you are just meaning for the entertainment factor ?

Same, I apologize if I am just misunderstanding due to the way the description is written. Are you the seller of this item ? Can you give more details on the things I have listed as concerns ?

Are there rules, or are there rules. I'd like to sell my Bridget Sullivan "coolie hats" on here too - how Bridget kept her demeanor during the hot 1892 summer washing windows out of doors.
Hey only $ 19.99 with a lock of Bridget's hair included.

You can go to Second Street Second Hand Shop to sell something. But it's best to check with Stefani first.

Tom trys to sell his Legend movie dupe there, occasionally.

Tx Kat, but doesn't answer the question. Could Emma have hired the killers? Where would she have gotten more than a few hundred dollars?

Check this out. Partly Emma's will.

[edit here: I made a goof on the will]
