Good News, Bad News

Post by Wordweaver »

The good news: I've got a job. It's a minimum of a two-month contract, but it may go longer and even become permanent. Yay, work! Yay, actual paychecks!

Bad news: Full-time employment will cut down a lot on my time here. However, I share a lengthy commute with a carpooling friend, so I'll be able to read my newly arrived Rebello for the two hours a day or so I'll be on the road.

My fingers are crossed for you on the job front, Lynn -- hoping you like it and that it lasts!

I started a job this year... I have a love hate relationship with it...

I love the job but hate not having all day to do as I please!

Good luck--- and good idea with the commute reading!

Congratulations on your job! And lucky your Rebello came in time to have something to look forward to reading on the way!
Nancie also just got a new job.
New jobs are going 'round!
Good luck everyone!

And Everyone buy your Rebello with your paychecks!
They are almost sold out! (Probably under a 100 left).

The Rebello is about $50 shipped to your door.

If you consider the HOURS you can and will spend with it-- it is literally a steal at that price.

If need be-- badger your family/friends to chip in for it as an early birthday, mother's day, father's day, Christmas gift...

It IS worth having!

Lynn,

I started as a contractor at my present job of 5 years. You have to stay positive, and good things can happen. I was in between jobs, waiting on tables, working temp jobs, and now I work for a great company and have security and benefits and of course a paycheck twice a month! I have worked since I was 12 years old, so you are preaching to the choir!

I hope it all works out for you, Lynn. Sounds like you are making the bad part good too though, good luck to you.
