Put on trial and eventually acquitted, Lizzie never escaped public scrutiny and was condemned by the sensationalist media. Lizzie Borden Took an Axe delves into the exciting testimonies of the people involved, fleshing out the psychological and emotional trauma of the grisly event. Did Lizzie do it?
