Some buildings are charged with memories,
You can feel their history in the air,
When the faces, voices, and events,
Remain behind to linger there.
We tread in the same foot steps,
Of all those who came before,
Gaze out of the same windows,
At what the future held in store.
They deserve our solemn respect,
These silent tombs of reverie,
Which stand a solid testament,
Of the way things used to be.
