I hope everyone here that writes is aware of the 'Writer's Market' book(s). It's a huge book that lists magazines, or book publishers, or poetry places, etc., giving those that do accept manuscripts, all contact info, and most of the time the writer's guidelines (how they want you to submit your work).
There are different types of Writer's Market books: One for just fiction; one for just non-fiction; one for songs; one for poetry, etc.
There is also one huge one, updated yearly, that lists a bunch of every kind of writing.
Anyway, I found a good price for the current one. You can find it at http://www.edwardrhamilton.com . The Item Number is: 6250947 and it's called simply "2008 Writer's Market". It sells for $29.99, but you can get it here for $19.95. And this place will ship your entire order, no matter how many items you get, for like $3.50.
Tho it's ideal to get one every year, you can use the same issue for a couple of years. You won't turn into a pumpkin.
Please give to the Edwin Porter grave marker fund.
