You've got that right, MB!

The 1955 “Tutti Frutti” song, was one of Little Richard’s signature songs, which became an instant hit, crossing over to the pop charts in both the United States and overseas in the United Kingdom. Source: https://tinyurl.com/zybbauq

Little Richard was definitely 'a one of a kind' in the music world, and he was a huge influence on many artistic of that time period.

His contemporaries, including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Everly Brothers, Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran, all recorded covers of his works. Taken by his music and style, and personally covering four of Penniman's songs on his own two breakthrough albums in 1956, Presley told Penniman in 1969 that his music was an inspiration to him and that he was "the greatest". Famous Italian music composer Ennio Morricone has died. (Living in Italy Franz and a man familiar with the arts, you must know his work well)

Though he wrote countless famous scores for movies, to me he was by far the best Western music composer ever.

You may not know the name, Morricone, but you have heard his music.

He wrote the famous western ditty, The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Below is my favorite western tunes from A Fist Full of Dollars, with scenes from the movie. The real star of the movie? NO not Clint Eastwood, but Gian Maria Volonte. He's a 10 in his acting ability compared to Eastwood's 4. Born in Milan, Volonte was known as the Italian Laurence Olivier. Volonte also appeared in For a Few Dollars More, with Eastwood.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHNFnij793k

Ennio Morricone wrote music for movies such as, The Exorcist II, The Untouchables, The Thing, The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Of course you need to be a Western Movie Nut to like such scenes as the one below.

One of my favorite acting appearances by Volonte.

Very Brutal though and not for everyone.

To entice his opponent into a gun fight Volonte has the man's wife and baby taken outside and shot. You don't see it but you hear the gun shot and the baby stops crying. Italian westerns are very violent towards woman and the innocent. Though I would not say that they take an exclusive misogynist approach, and I may have to think twice on that one, they do treat women as props, prostitutes, or "fortunate" victims. Very few strong women in Spaghetti Westerns. (Once Upon a Time in the West with Claudia Cardinale is an exception) And if so they are killed or punched in the face. Don't know if that's a macho Italian thing or what. One of the great imperfections or indiscretions of Spaghetti Westerns which sets them apart from American ones.

Here we have Morricone at his best with his music. Classic Spaghetti Western tune.

The scene is all about Volonte's acting ability and the music. It's what I take away from it.
