First, welcome to the forum!

I am highly dubious of the item as a Lizzie Borden card.

The name on the card looks more like Rice to me than Brice.

I don't remember of hearing that Lizzie had cousins in Brooklyn or relatives of either the Brice or Rice name. We have a few very knowledgeable people here on the forum on the genealogy of the Bordens. I'll leave it to them to look into that part.

The writing just doesn't sound like Lizzie (or Lizbeth as she called herself). Don't know of any "Aunt S" either. And the Emma she addresses certainly could not be her sister Emma as Emma never lived in Brooklyn and she and Lizzie had not spoken nor written to each other since Emma moved out of Maplecroft in 1905.

I think you might want to hang on to the $1300 you don't have.

It doesn't even look much like Lizzie's handwriting. An old hoax most likely. If it is worth $3,500.00 why is it going for $1,300.00?

The only characteristic which looks similar is the (non-)crossing of the small "t."
Lizzie didn't cross her "t," but flung the cross-bar out to the right, in space. This writer does the same, except in the last part where it says:
"Love to you all."
That crossed "t" isn't consistent with the rest of the writing on the card.

Yes, and the handwriting look's too good to be Lixxie's.
