But why is Mrs. Bates holding an axe?

Isn't this cute? I mean, Lizzie Borden wouldn't have been caught dead in it, and the dress looks more like something Norman Bates would put on to slice up his female hotel guests, but it's still kinda neat, don't you think?

She's got the hatchet pointing the wrong way!
Does she also run with scissors?
And pass the knife blade first?

Thanks for the link, Bob!

Nice outfit! Could I see it in blue?

That is funny, Bob. It does look like Norman/Norma Bates. There's nothing on the front of the dress - it looks like it's the back of the dress. And, yes, blue would be better. That's a hefty price to pay if it isn't even blue. Looks like they got the sleeves right, tho. Does the axe come with?

Actually the axe and a hat comes with the costume. I know if I had the pattern I could probably sew it for ALOT less money & probably would look a little better. I saw that in the catalog & I didn't think of Lizzie: you're absolutely right on I also thought of Norman Bates.
