Hi snokkum. Kat knows more than anyone about Miss. Churchill. She must have kept a big house - in those days a big job. You're doing a nice job with your interesting postings snokkums.

Snok...is your tagline from the M*A*S*H theme song ??

http://sniff.numachi.com/~rickheit/dtra ... ICIDE.html

Suicide is Painless (Mash Theme Song)
(Mike Altman and Johnny Mandel)

Through early morning fog I see
Visions of the things to be,
The pains that are withheld for me,
I realize and I can see...

That suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please.

The game of life is hard to play,
I'm going to loose it anyway,
The loosin' card I'll someday lay;
So this is all I have to say...

That suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please.

The only way to win is cheat
And lay it down before I'm beat
And to another give my seat
For that's the only painless feat.

That suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please.
And you can do the same thing if you please.

Well, all I really wanted to know was if she does get her answer from somewhere. Asking if she looks further, reads further, or expects the answer to be given her?
Does she ever find out if no one replies?

Yes, we have strayed from the original post. I guess it's true if no one answers...no answer is received...and one can remain uninformed...or one can continue to search.

Yes it is. M*A*S*H is my favorite show. I probably know more about that show and its actors and episodes than I do about Lizzie Borden. Thats the reason I keep asking all these silly questions.

I know if i can't find my awnser......I go to the archives!:) Those archives are the best source for any question and theory and I think it saves alot of people's time from typing what has already posted probably several hundred times before. There is a place on this site you just punch in a name or whatever and it finds things related. I believe this feature should be more accessed.....this saves everyone time and irritation.

I also look on other sites, web pages, and google, other search engines.this is not the only place that people have heard of Lizzie Borden!

I would buy the books if I could afford them especially the Robello.but I can't right now.but IAM SURE IF i wanted to I could find a library and check them out........I really want my own copy though so I can highlight and make notes in the margins ect....... but surely if I can reasearch without the books snookums SHOULD BE ABLE TO also.

Iam very new here, but feel Iam very educated On the Lizzie Borden case because I HAVE RESEARCHED it mostly in archives (the greatest place ever!!!) and I save people from posting things that have already been posted a gazillion times.

SNOOKUMS STRAIT OUT! STUDY THE ARCHIVES!! it will make life easier!

SNOK:

i would suggest Witness Statements, the Inquest, and the Trial -- in that order. And if you could approach it by the individual you're interested in if that's your preference, to focus on one witness -- Churchill is prominent in the testimonies........she is lizzie's neighbor on the north side, churchill walks home from market about 11 that thursday and through her window notices lizzie looking peculiar in the doorway, etc, etc............just follow from there from churchill's point of view. (that's just a suggestion.)

at any rate, i do suggest you decide to focus more specifically on something. you won't get anywhere skirting everything. this is intended to be a constructive suggestion.
