Lizzie Borden’s Maplecroft Painting Complete
The headline here is an assumption on my part, of course. But a great deal of work has been done on this grand home that it looks finished….
The garage is even sporting new panels and facia boards!
The house has been painted a pale yellow with white trim. According to Borden historian Bill Pavao, when Lizzie and Emma purchased the home in 1893 it was a buff color. I suppose pale yellow is kind of close!
The house looks light years better than it did just a few weeks ago. And, yes, it is still for sale. But the owner is selling it himself. It is no longer carried with any agent.
