He quivers like a bow<\/span><\/p>\n

in the morgue sitting room,<\/span><\/p>\n

life’s leaving him real slow<\/span><\/p>\n

upon a horsehair tomb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Bowen, please do come<\/span><\/p>\n

though I fear there is no need———-<\/span><\/p>\n

Afraid he may be dead<\/span><\/p>\n

what a dastardly deed,<\/span><\/p>\n

blows to the head<\/span><\/p>\n

leaving Father to bleed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maggie, please do come<\/span><\/p>\n

were the windows all a chore?———-<\/span><\/p>\n

Killers are all about<\/span><\/p>\n

lock the back screen door,<\/span><\/p>\n

not a moan or a shout<\/span><\/p>\n

what’s that thump upon the floor?<\/span><\/p>\n

Miss Russell, please do come<\/span><\/p>\n

some coffee, or tea instead?———-<\/span><\/p>\n

Just burning this old dress<\/span><\/p>\n

that’s been soiled painted red,<\/span><\/p>\n

from a chop I should confess<\/span><\/p>\n

that rendered them both dead.<\/span><\/p>\n

Emma, please do come<\/span><\/p>\n

our whims we will fulfill———-<\/span><\/p>\n

Do return without delay<\/span><\/p>\n

since they both are laying still,<\/span><\/p>\n

all our aches have bled away<\/span><\/p>\n
