\nIt\u2019s been countless years, it\u2019s been a week<\/span><\/p>\n

good times and laughter are precious few<\/span><\/p>\n

this sacred sword has left me weak<\/span><\/p>\n

and the battle seems lost … and so do you<\/span><\/p>\n

This crusade\u2019s a futile deception<\/span><\/p>\n

like the porous armor I continue to wear<\/span><\/p>\n

for the love I give receives no redemption<\/span><\/p>\n

despite my strength,\u00a0 <\/span>it\u2019s all I can bear<\/span><\/p>\n

You see, I partake in many a war<\/span><\/p>\n

a campaign of love is a messy art<\/span><\/p>\n

the less you give, I battle for more<\/span><\/p>\n

should have retreated right from the start<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been countless years, it\u2019s been a week<\/span><\/p>\n

good times and laughter are precious few<\/span><\/p>\n

this sacred sword has left me weak<\/span><\/p>\n

the battle seems lost and so do you<\/span><\/p>\n

I wheel this cutlass of ice, of fire<\/span><\/p>\n

my heart on my sleeve, I fight from my knees<\/span><\/p>\n

but this steeplechase of love and desire<\/span><\/p>\n

has lost its passion and hunger for these<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside I lost this weapon called pride<\/span><\/p>\n

the scares though aged continue to bleed<\/span><\/p>\n

to a solider of passion, zeal will subside<\/span><\/p>\n

when the enemy\u2019s love becomes his need<\/span><\/p>\n

for it\u2019s been countless years, it\u2019s been a week<\/span><\/p>\n

good times and laughter are precious few<\/span><\/p>\n

this sacred sword has left me weak<\/span><\/p>\n
