I cared too, Mike. Googled Ambler, etc. and all I could find were copies of the book for sale but no explanation of why his talk was called that.
When I read your post, not knowing anything about the book, I first thought that he may have been talking to one of those dinner-theater groups where you try to guess who did it. So much for that.
On EBay a lot of people use our Lizzie as a hook to draw attention to their item even though it may have nothing to do with her. Can't count the number of photos that were supposedly Lizzie. Kat was running out of mustaches to paint on them.

Eric Ambler wrote many novels in the 1930s. After the war he went into motion pictures, then started writing again in the mid 1950s.

Karen Elizabeth Chaney's book "New England Remembers Lizzie Borden" was released this last week. Just picked up a copy today.
Difficult to come up with something completely new and different unless it's fiction or something along the lines of Rick Geary's book. Have not read it yet but looks like a retelling of the crime, a good introduction for $12.95
Nice to see an Index which is left out of many American publications. For a short 82 page paperback it's a nice touch, especially if the book is used for research. (Miss Chaney also lists a page and a half Bibliography of books published on the case) Book comes with the same common photos published in many other books on the case.
Last chapter is the Epilogue, "Lizzie in Popular Culture" with commentary that touches on a couple of publications and books about the case with much on Plays. A little over 4 pages. Would have been nice if it was a little longer. That portion I have read, since I'm one of those people that always start a book by reading the last chapter first. (doesn't work well for fiction though

)
Well, that's my Take on the book at a "glance." Can not say any more until I read it. Thanks everyone.
