Allen, Haunted Inns of New England only has a few pages in it about the Borden case. It gives the facts of the case but they are short and in point form.
I agree that they should have the rest of the facts instead of just details about the ghosts in order for people to try to figure out the ghost stories. That's part of the stories. Why are these ghosts haunting theses places? What happened to these people to cause this? They can't just assume that anyone that reads it is going to already know what happened and that there is no point in mentioning it.
