I think another reason I have a hard time believing Lizzie didn't remember is I have a very good memory. I've relied on this memory a lot over the years. In High School I could goof around all I wanted and still got good grades. There was a stretch were I hated school and skipped many days in a row but I still passed the tests and had a good grade point average. And most of the time all I had to do was open my book the morning of the test and read over the chapter. 15 minutes of study and I aced the tests. I can retain information very well. More than half of knowing the answers was retaining the information. The things that do interest me I have a habit of studying to the point of distraction. Because I absolutely enjoy the intake of information and feel like I can never learn enough. I have a good head for remembering facts, especially for things that truly interest me. I always recheck my information to make sure when I post any information on here, and if it's something I haven't thought about for awhile I do remember things wrong sometimes. But my memory is very good. I think this is why I have a hard time with people forgetting things an hour after it happened. Even under stress.
