"The 1873 House" on Second Street.
I can't tell the listing date, so I'm not sure if this is a current sale.
I think by the amount they're asking, it might be now.

Can't say I think much of the decor -- those stained glass windows certainly aren't originals. & the faux wood panelling?! Eeesh. $900 grand sure doesn't go far in real estate these days. Think I'd rather get Maplecroft. Nice billiard table, tho.

I think it used to be a convent or something?
Or a place where priests lived- a rectory?

With everyone going to Fall River this summer, maybe someone will stay here and tell us about it.

Wow, looks like a grand place, I wonder where it
is on second st? A house that big would go for over
a million here, it could be an old listing Kat, I think
the Real Estate there is about the same inflated ridiculous prices as here.

7,000 square feet is a HUGE place, as the listing suggests. I can't think of anything I'd be less fitted for than running a B&B. I'm a terrible housekeeper, and my motto would be "Service with a Scowl." I've never understood why anybody would want to run a B&B, although I have a couple of friends who have tried it for varying periods. They usually wind up like this guy -- spending longer and longer periods "vacationing" while the B&B crumbles. The last time I checked real estate prices in Fall River, they were a good deal cheaper than in my area. I don't think Fall River has ever completely recovered from having the cloth mills go south. Nor has the south recovered from having them go overseas.
