From "The Power of Birthdays, Stars & Numbers" by Saffi Crawford and Geraldine
sullivan -- ***July 12: Creativity and enterprise, practical skills, and intuitive insight are some of the qualties identified with your birthday. As a Cancerian, you are imaginative and idealistic, yet your natural business sense and an ability to present an unusual and original point of view often suggest that you are an objective thinker. This objectivity, however, can be challenged by your tendency to be indecisive or unpredictable. The subinfluence of your decante ruler, Pisces, adds to your receptivity and usually implies that you can easily absorb the atmosphere around you. This influence also suggests that you can be prone to moods and therefore need a harmonious environment. More often than not, worry and anxiety revolve around money issues and can interfere with your ability to resolve problems and find simple solutions. Nevertheless, your inspirational ideas and a bright outlook frequently give you the edge when the call is for originality. As a perfectionist, your thoroughness or concentration enables you to pick up on ideas and methods very quickly, and with your communication skills you usually appear light and congenial. A positive philosophy is essential to your well-being. By avoiding pessimism, you can focus your attention on the matter at hand rather than scatter and diffuse your energies through nervous haste. After the age of ten, when your progressed Sun moves into Leo, there may be increased opportunities to develop strength, creativity, and self-expression. Your growing confidence is likely to continue to the beginning of your forties, when your progressed Sun enters Virgo. Your focus is then liable to change so that you become more pragmatic and discerning. At the age of seventy, when your progressed Sun enters Libra, you may experience another turning point as your interest turns more to relationships, harmony, and balance. Many of your projects may center around home and its responsibilities. This sense of home could stretch out to the planet Earth itself, as you can be a true humanitarian. You feel things keenly and intensely and often have ideas that bring harmony out of chaos. You may feel that at times it seems too hard to achieve your objectives, but you have the dedication and capabilities for outstanding achievements. Inside you are extremely sensitive and vulnerable, though on the surface you appear confident and capable. A quest for peace of mind may lead you to investigate metaphysics or spirituality as a way to develop inner serenity. Alternatively, you can be highly creative, with a need for emotional self-expression. Possessing high morals, you can be very supportiove and often fight for a cause you believe in.*** HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAT!

You are reading my mind! It was a choice between Chinese and Vietnamese, and I chose Vietnamese. We actually have a little Chinatown near downtown Orlando.
It was wonderful! Stef took me out, gave me presents, and some of our brothers phoned me as well.

Wow, sounds good to me and it sounds like you had a really good time! So what did you have to eat? I don't think I've ever eaten Vietnamese food, is there much of a difference between it and Chinese?

I like my Chinese food sweet.
Lemon Chicken, Orange Beef, General Sao's Chicken, Sesame Chicken.

But the Vietnamese food is salty and extremely flavorful- I have a bowl of sweet salad, and on top of that the angel-hair noodles and on top of that roasted pork and on top of that a fried egg and fish sauce on the very top! It's sounds weird but OMG!
It's like the best roasted pork chop you ever had and I think the egg is fried in the same stuff as the pork.

Mmmmmm, sounds yummy to me! One of my favorite Chinese dishes is Pork Lo Mein, sounds like I would like this one that you described. Do you ever eat Thai food? Some of it is a little too sweet for my taste though most of the food has a fresh, clean taste to it that I haven't found in other cuisines.

Yes I've had Thai food last year for only about the 2nd time and it was very fresh tasting- that is the main thing I noticed!
