Have you bought The Sourcebook, or Did She Or Didn't She??

Have you read the transcriptions at the LizzieAndrewBorden dot com Virtual Museum & Library, Resources?
http://lizzieandrewborden.com/Resources ... eports.htm

You can also buy C-D of newspapers at:
http://www.lizzieandrewborden.com/Borde ... papers.htm

You can also subscribe to a news archive.

Your local library may subscribe to some papers- usually to the New York Times. If you go there in person they can help you get to their subscription site.

There are probably hundreds of newspapers that had stories about the Borden case. However, since the Associated Press was already in operation then, most of the stories probably came from the same few sources. I've never thought it would be useful to track down every newspaper story. Kat's right; it's good to start with what's readily available. The newspaper clippings in that "Did She...or...Didn't She?" book have such small print that they're quite difficult to read, but it's otherwise useful. One thing I like about it is that it reproduces whole newspaper pages (which explains why the print is so small). You get to read the advertisements and other peripheral stuff, which helps in understanding what the community and larger society were like in 1892-93. Some of the ads are a real hoot.
