Does anyone know when the winter picture was taken that showed the flowers on the the two graves. I know that the flowers were placed there by a friend of mine when we visited the LBB&B in November 2004.
Thanks

Hi! And Welcome to the forum!
The photo was taken by Mark Amarantes last year. I included a large number of his shots in the February 2005 issue. Here is a tiny version of one of the pages with those flowers. That would be very cool if your friend was the one who did it.

He definately was the one. He was visiting from the Cincinnati area and had always wanted to visit the Lizzie Borden home. So while he was visiting we made a trip to Fall River. He was the one that stumbled across the picture on the cover of "the Hatchet".

Those colors were stunning against the snow. It made for a beautiful photograph. Isn't it a small world after all!

I am delighted when I see Mark's photographs published in The Hatchet.
That particular issue would have, and still is worth subscribing to for them alone.

No..... The poster's friend placed the flowers on the grave which were subsequently photographed by Mark and used in The Hatchet.
Tominnh came to the forum and informed us that his friend had taken the photos. Very simple.

Maybe Elizabelle would consider putting her post back...what was it I missed ? Was it something in regards to Audrey's post ?

Or was it in regards to something else ?

Yes...and you would know all about etiquette wouldn't you?
The only reason I deleted my question was because I thought your reply was RUDE; especially with your undermining tone that my question was a stupid one. If that's not poor etiquette, then I don't know what is.
This isn't about etiquette. You're just upset that I deleted my "stupid question" and nobody will have the pleasure of knowing what you were being sarcastic about.
But, thanks for the reminder, nontheless! You're reminding me about etiquette for my own best interests, I'm sure...

How "lady-like" of you to notice!
Now drop it, please.
Thank you!!!
P.S.--Isn't it considered rude...or at the very least, poor forum etiquette for using the "crazy" emoticon when someone is rationally trying to explain themselves and their actions?

Pardon me Audrey, but I believe it is considered poor forum etiquette to egg a situation on and use blatant mockery to get a moot point across!

OK..how about if I hand out some estrogen. In some cases, PM's are a great way to exchange conflicting opinions.

Tom,
That photo was taken on Jan. 30, 2005 at 1:48:30 pm.
It was taken with my Fuji Finepix S602 Zoom digital camera.
The shutter speed was 1/600
The ISO sensitivity was equal to Iso 200 film
The Aperture was F 8.0
& The quality mode was Fine (JEPG).
I remember pulling around the corner going into the Cemetery when I spotted the flowers from a 1/4 mile away! It was a photo just screaming to be taken. Please tell your friend thanks for putting the flowers there. And thanks for posting your "before" photo. It's not often that a photographer gets to see the "before shot" That was neat.
