"Red Shoes" ballerina Moira Shearer died. Do any of you know anything about her?

I've got a lot of books on dancers but I've never heard of her. She starred in a 1948 film "The Red Shoes." It won some awards. Where have I been all this time?

She made only a few movies, the best known of the others being the notorious Peeping Tom of 1960, in which she is one of the victims of a serial killer.
