Before you start searching online for a newstory about a crazed woman at Disneyland, let me explain. For those of you who are familiar with Disneyland or world, you know they have a Haunted Mansion attraction. In the attic of the Mansion was a lonely ghost of a bride, her heart beating and pulsing a glowing red. Well, the attic has had a revamp lately and so has the bride. The bride now has a name, Constance, and she is a black widow bride; she has dispatched all her husbands. Her murder tool of choice? A HATCHET. Two of my favorite things together at last, the Mansion and a hatchet toting woman.

Apparently as you go through the attic you pass wedding portraits of Constance and her vict....er, husbands. As you pass these portraits, the husband's heads disappear. Just before you exit the attic you come face to face with Constance, who now speaks some chilling lines. Such as, "Till death do us part." and then she flashes you her hatchet. I have not seen her in person yet, am just dying to do so, my fiance and I are going this weekend. But, I did find video online of the new attic if you are interested, Constance is so Lizzie-like it just gives me the chills!

Got to see the new bride in person this weekend, wow, was she ever creepy!!! I don't know how well it comes across in the videos, but, whenever she raises her hatchet there is this icy metal on metal sound effect, too cool. After some of her lines she has this laugh that made me think of Lizzie at the top of the stairs while Bridget was fumbling with the front door locks. My favorite line was, "In sickness or in....wealth." as Constance pointedly stared at her hatchet. All in all, a wonderfully chilling addition to the Haunted Mansion!

WOW! That was creepy! I did hear the metal scraping, too!
