I know that Bridget eventually moved to Montana and died there in 1948. Does anyone have any information on her descendants? Her children presumably are all dead, but she must have grandchildren who might remember her, and also great-grandchildren. I hope she had a happy life. I believe she knew more than she let on, or was asked at the trial, and deserved some happiness.

As far as we know, Bridget Sullivan never had children.
Some think that the Bridget Sullivan living in Montana was not our Bridget at all!

I'm going by the information in Victoria Lincoln's book. Apparently she had a friend in Montana to whom she confided that she was the Bridget Sullivan of the Lizzie Borden case and she was married and had had several children. I would love to know whether anyone in Montana remembered her at all.

Hello Janet, welcome to the forum!
I think the proof that Bridget did not bear children is in her will. This is from the bible of Bordenia, Leonard Rebello's Lizzie Borden: Past and Present, page 80:
"Bridget's will is a four page document. She left an estate of $4,871.55 to several nieces, a nephew and Julia O'Donnell (not related to Bridget). Mrs. O'Donnell inherited most of Bridget's estate. ($2,056.57)"
There is no mention of any children.
Sometimes Ms. Lincoln wrote rumors as facts.

Wasn't it thought possible that Bridget's husband had children?
If so, she might have been a stepmother?
Does anyone know about that?
Len Rebello went to Montana and will probably go again- so info may be updated.
Hi Jan!
