from the book, "Lizzie Borden, The legend the truth the final chapter"--
"Because her fathers often mentioned but never seen will was never probated and because her fathers wife predeased hime, when Lizzie was arrested Emma became sole legal heir to the Borden fortune and had full control over it"
Isn't it possible that maybe Emma had someone kill her parents, and make look like Lizzie. Of course she makes it look like she is the supporting sister. She just didn't plan on LIzzie getting aquitted.

Everything is possible, since we don't know for sure who did the killing. But I don't think Emma was a very likely candidate.
We don't know much about Emma, but what we know leads me to think that she had no great ambitions in life. She did none of the social networking that Lizzie did. By "social networking" I mean Lizie membership in multiple charitable organisations, where she would have the chance to get acquainted with influential people and also earn social influence herself. But Emma chose not to do so, and instead kept herself busy in the house, and with keeping up relations with family (f.i. Morse and the Harringtons) and a few close friends.
What would Emma have needed all of Andrew's fortune for? A larger, more comfortable house, perhaps, or a trip to Europe, or some good books. But she easily could have done that with much less than Andrew's full fortune. And after her parent's death, Emma continued to live quietly.
Emma seems to have been very much her father's daughter, if she copied his lifestyle of quiet living. One could say that Emma perhaps inherited her father's passion for making money and sitting on it too, and that a motive could be found in that. If Emma had ambitions to become a businesswoman, then she would need capital to get started. But I can't find anything that would point to such ambitions. Also, I would think Emma was too conventional to engage in such unwomanly activities.
So, my money isn't on Emma.

But that might have worked well for Emma because she was the quieter one of the two. I also believe she was more of the intelligent one of the two, and the one that would have been the one to pay attention to the details of a situation.
Lizzie, you're right, was out there, part of soical organiztions. Maybe one of the reasons they concentrated on her, as well as she and the maid were the only two in the house. I don't think they ever considered the possiblity that it could have been set up by Emma.

NO!
There's no evidence for this claim, hence it is now disproved for ever and ever.

You don't consider a possibility if there is no evidence for it.
I think your time would be better spent reading or re-reading the books.

Well ... Emma disliked Abby even more than Lizzie did. That sounds like an ominous sign to me.
Emma's alibi, it was said, was checked out. But I can't find who checked it. I think it's been published, but I don't believe I've come across it.
Yes, Emma does seem like the more intelligent of the two. It was pretty dumb for Lizzie to do some of the things she did.
I do believe that Emma, Lizzie and Morse planned it and had someone else carry it out.

BUT what about the jail Matron's report that Lizzie at Taunton Jail yelled at Emma "You've given me away" and such. where did that come from, what did it mean and why did Lizzie feel suddenly betrayed by Emma. The feeling did not last since Emma was more than a loyal sis at the trial.

What Emma said at the Trial was to make Lizzie look innocent. Do not assume that all testimony is straight and honest.
Police were sent to verify Emma's testimony, and Uncle John's.

Was that in the newspapers or from the Trial? Then or now newspapers like to report interesting news that sells newspapers.
Ever hear about the JonBenet Ramsey murder? How the tabloids ran with this story and left the facts behind?
