My father is into genology and we found out that we had relatives that came across on the Mayflower. I know Lizzie had relatives that first settled in Massachetts when it first became a colony. Does anyone know if she had any relatives on the Mayflower?

Did the "Mayflower Society" exist in Fall River in those days?
Would Andy have paid to belong? I don't think so.

I don't know. I was just wandering if she knew of any of her relatives coming across on the Mayflower.

I believe there were many other ships that came to America with immigrants after the 'Mayflower'. Given the intermarriage, many today can trace their ancestors, one way or another, to that ship. Maybe even those who are mostly Native Americans.
I may be wrong, but I believe the prominent jaw and lidded eyes of Lizzie and Andrew suggest ancestors who were Native Americans.

According to page 1 of Rebello, Richard Borden and his brother John came to America from England aboard the Elizabeth and Ann in 1635.
That is not to say that there isn't Mayflower blood among Lizzie's many generations of ancestors. Many, many old Yankees are Mayflower descendants. It always amazes me how many descendants came from that small group who arrived in 1620.

If a couple of her ancestors came across the mayflower I wonder if she knew the ones I had on the ship.
