For Edward Gorey fans- there is a special Dracula exhibit of Gorey's faboo sets and illustrations for the Broadway version -here's the link

I saw Dracula in Boston with the Gorey sets years and years ago. My Mom and her partner Jack used to eat on the Cape at a place that was Gorey's hangout. They often saw him and attended some of the theatrical performances he was involved with. They're quite the Gorey fans. I've got a couple of his books, as any good pen and ink artist should.

Oh and Happy Late Birthday Lee-Ann!

It came to Westerly Rhode Island about 12 years ago. I love the one touch of red on all black and white sets. I think this would make an effective approach for a Lizzie set as well. I have the little cut out Dracula theatre sets which came out at the time of the play on Broadway and the one re-issued a few years ago. They are still available for about 20 dollars at the Gorey website. I wish I could have met him. Well, come on up for a Goreyfest. We plan to get up there around Halloween.

Happy birthday, LeeAnn. Like I mentioned to Shelley, it is a belated wish because my computer has been down until today.
