When Ford Workers Prayed

In the 1930's, union organizers came up with this, "The Ford's Prayer":
Our father, who art
in Dearborn.
Henry is thy name.
Let payday come.
Thy will be done
At River Rouge as it is
at Highland Park.
Give us this day our
daily 5 bucks,
And forgive us
for taking it
As we forgive those
who take it from us.
And lead us not into
intelligent actions
(strikes)
