Greetings all,
I wasn't sure where to put this but I figured here was the safest place. As one likes to introduce oneself before jumping into an ongoing conversation, my first post here will serve as such.
My name is Colleen, or Lolly, if you prefer. I've been interested in the Borden case since I was a little girl when my father used to take me out to Oak Grove Cemetery, to the Borden plot, and tell me stories he'd heard of the family and the case.
I was lucky enough, in my twenties, to be asked to play the Lizzie/ Bridget character in the production of Blood Relations done for the conference at Bristol Community College.
I'm 41 now, and just under a month ago I became the newest tour guide at the B&B! I learn new things about the case every day from the wonderful people I work with, and I discover, every day, just how much I STILL don't know.
I'm very much looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully contributing items of interest.
Thanks in advance for all the fun and education I know I'm going to get here.

Lolly

Hello Lolly, welcome!

It's always nice to have folks from Fall River and doubly nice to have people from the B&B.

For that you get another welcome!

Welcome aboard "The Good Ship Lizzie Borden", Colleen!

You will find more facts on the case here than you will in all the books floating around out there so dig in and have fun!

Welcome! I'm still fairly new myself, I too took an interest in Lizzie when I was in my teens. I found this site over two years ago and started out reading the "forum Archives" I got hooked, it's addictive....when I joined the forum I already felt as if I knew most everyone, from reading their posts! What a great job you have!! That must be exciting!!! Lucky you!!! Once again, welcome!!!

Now if we can get Kathleen aboard- and Ed and Eleanor- the whole house will be here! Just think- moment by moment daily coverage. We should get one of those webcam things and have a 24 hr. broadcast like the one of the New York pigeons on a ledge. But where to put the camera? Kitchen- sittingroom- parlor? I say the guestroom- oooo!

Yes! The cellar would be the place- it seems to be a crowd favorite for history and ghostie people alike.
