2006 Tax Credit

A friend sent me the following URL. It will explain a tax credit from $30 to $60 you can claim on your 2006 tax return. Even more if you have the proper paperwork. It involves an over charge for excise taxes over the years.

What if all you have is a cell phone? They were not explicit.

It sounds like they were referring to home phones. It says "have their own land phone in their home". I am not sure if that would include a cell phone.

Done! Just completed and e-filed my Federal and State returns. Hooray!

Don't forget to check the box for the refund on the telephone taxes if you had long-distance anytime between Feb. 2003 and July 2006. See this URL:
