Winter

Up until a week ago we had been experiencing one of the driest winters on record. In the last four days we have gotten just short of four feet of snow! This is the snowiest April on record, and it is only the 7th of the month! Winds have been gusting in the 40-50 mile per hour range. On the plus side, if we get any sunshine, the snow will melt quickly and it will look like March again!

Good Grief Yooper! I thought we had it bad! this time last week we were in the high 60's -70's and now it's 19 with freeze advisory. Thank goodness we got all the rain during the warm spell or we'd still be digging out! There's still alot of flooding going on, and the river is really high. The good thing is it can't hold on much longer, Winter is gonna have to let go and let Spring take over!!! Happy Easter by the way!!

Thanks, and Happy Easter to you, shakiboo! Up until Tuesday, we had temperatures in the fifties for a couple of weeks and the snow cover had all melted! April Fool, I guess! The sun is at a good angle to warm objects in spite of the air temperature, so the snow won't take long in going.
