Pics of my stepson's wedding:
I don't know why these pictures are so fuzzy. If you click on them once, they get a bit clearer.

How sweet! You are just glowing in those pics, Ellen! I love the simple line of the bride's gown, truly beautiful. I'm kind of torn between choices for my dress when the big day comes; something with a simple Empire line or one of those more traditional, yards of tulle and lace confections. Cheers to the new bride and groom!

Susan, I have a really detailed pic of her dress and veil which shows just how pretty it is, but the batteries are down in my digital camera, so I'll try to remember to change them and put the pic up tomorrow.

And after all that excitement you had to run out the door babbling that you had a date to keep with Lizzie Borden, right?

Thanks, Ellen. That is one gorgeous dress, I love how the veil has the matching satin ribbon too. Very pretty. Is that the ring bearer again in the one pic of the dress? What a little cutie he is. This is the other style of wedding gown that I've been looking at, it actually looks quite similar to the one my mom got married in.

That's a very pretty dress too, Susan. I'm sure whatever you pick you will be beautiful. We only have gorgeous females on this website, right, Ladies?
Yep, that little tyke was the ringbearer. He was a dancing fool that night too, along with my grandson.
I found a victorian type dress for my first wedding that reminded me of my grandmother's wedding dress I saw in a 1902 picture. I loved that I could wear something that was similar to someone in my family.

Absolutely; every single one of us!!!
Susan, the gown you posted is also beautiful. I am sure that whatever gown you choose, it will not only be beautiful, it will be perfect for you.
Ellen, I agree with Susan, the little ring bearer is a cutie; I have a feeling that he is going to be a heartbreaker when he is a bit older.

Thanks, I do so love midcentury clothing, that dress is very similar to the one that Jackie Kennedy wore too. That sounds wonderful, Ellen, a victorian styled wedding gown, hadn't even thought of going in that direction. Must have been just gorgeous!
Yes, Judy, thats exactly what I was thinking, when that little guy is older hes going to be breaking hearts. So cute.

Wow that dress looks like the one Julia Roberts wore in "Run Away Bride" The one she modeled for Richard Gere, except Julia's was longer, floor length.

You're welcome, Susan.
I have always felt that I was born in the wrong century - I absolutely love and admire the lacy, high neck, styles of Lizzie's era.
Here is a link to my favorite photo of Lizzie:

I think, Lizzie looks so feminine in this photo.
