Did anyone catch any of the scary shows on TV last Saturday night on "WE" channel- and if so what did you think of any of them?
There were shows I had not seen. First there was "Extreme Ghost Stories" which were pretty scary.
Then "Rescue Mediums," which seems to be a show out of Canada, dated 2005. Then the new season premiere of John Edward Cross Country.

I missed quite a bit of the "Extreme Ghost Stories" (football was on) but did see The Enfield Case- wondered if anyone had seen that?
Stef and I had been interested in that when it first became known- because of the alleged Poltergeist activity. This show had the EVP from back then when the investigator asked questions in the room with the girl and it was creepy.

Wow! You are getting Rescue Mediums down in the States. I posted a bit about it a few weeks ago on another thread. Here it's on "W Network". One of my favorite shows. The two ladies (Christine & Jackie) are so charming. They started new shows here in the past few weeks & they seem to have been covering the area around where I live. Yes, it's Canadian. The show is interesting. I'm not 100% convinced by it, but if it is without trickery, Christine & Jackie are quite a powerful team.

It's brand new here!
They showed 2 episodes.
Saturday night here TV stinks usually so that was a big pleasant surprise!
It's too soon for me to tell if I like the show, but they seem nice enough, and *normal* enough to have over for coffee just to chat!

I enjoyed the Rescue Mediums very much. Can't wait to see more episodes.
I enjoyed John Edward also, but not as much. I didn't particularly enjoy watching celebrities being "read." The woman from the soap opera really put me off, for some reason. I suppose it's because I don't think that celebrities are as open and unassuming as the average audience member might be. She seemed very tense to me, and it made me tense too.

I agree. She seemed disappointed that her father came thru for her mother (who wasn't there) rather than for her! Her face lit up- and then lost expression when it was *merely* to pass on info to her mother! (Can you imagine being disappointed your father is there for someone else?

) Well, she may have wanted it to be *about her* but I guess she learned it doesn't work that way!
I thought that was kind of cool, watching her adjust to that.
You're very perceptive you know, to have noticed that!

Golly- these "Extreme Ghost Stories" are really scary!
That is off-set nicely by the charming psychic dibblers who make house calls. Then the night is sweetened by John Edward (who makes grown men cry)- Saturday night TV is now delish!
BTW: "Most Haunted" is premiering their new season shortly by filming 7 hours LIVE at the Winchester House.

New night this week for Rescue Mediums fans!
Lisa Williams is Friday night so the TV "gawds" made a smart move for a change, and have scheduled "The Rescue Mediums" for Saturday night at 9 and 9:30 and repeating Saturday night/Sunday at 1 and 1:30 am. Yay!
Next week they will again be on Saturday night.

I caught Most Haunted last w/e--- it was on very late at night & I think on Saturday. I love how they give 3D floorplans. I don't like the greenish lighting (tho I suspect it's practical for night, but why not film in daylight?---scarier effects, I suppose).
