They won today!
Next week they get to play the undefeated Patriots. Well, one win is better than none.

All the Pro Florida teams won today.
It's weird to think the Bucs had their first kickoff return for a score in franchise history. That is so bad!
My Jax team is looking good.

I was shocked that Miami won!! I was hoping to see the Pats win all their games and the Dolphins lose all theirs.

I could never get it...........
If you purchase a lottery ticket and win a couple of thousand, I can understand one jumping up and down and cheering and screaming: I WON, WE WON, WE WON, of course, you are that much richer.
But, I don't get the sport thing, cheering for a team or a guy who is getting paid 17 million a year.
What is that all about?
What's in it for us?
How do I benefit?
Nothing!
Am I that desperate or that much of a loser that I need to feel good about others winning. (Don't see much difference between professional ball playing and championship wrestling.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, if the Boston Red Sox were owned by the state they played for, and every time they won, instead of paying the players 17 million you paid them salary, and the 17 million went towards my property tax or to fund existing or new schools. OK !! Or, every time my team won some of the profit went into my 401K, well..........there is something to cheer for.
But to cheer for a group of people who do nothing for me, who are not related to me, or even know I exist? Don't understand the concept? Really, what is that all about. Why do people do it?

Too bad about the 49's. They can't seem to "buy" a win! They'll be back though. All teams do.
I like the Dolphins. In fact what I love to see is a well-played game no matter who wins.

Yes I agree- mostly in college ball.
In Pro I like the quarterback and tend to stick to him.
MB-- as a girl, I will say that I do so love those shiny tight pants they wear and to see them all piled up on each other--- drool!>>>

I don't know much about Football but I have often wondered what would happen to a game if ALL of the quarterbacks on a team got hurt during a game? Who would pass the ball then?
I often wonder about weird stuff like this. I like John Madden because he is always talking about the odd-ball stuff that I'm thinking about.
