Paranormal experiences?

This has always been of interest to me and was just wondering if anyone on this forum has had any strange occurrences while being in the house.

I think there are topics around here that mention possible paranormal experiences. One might have to look around at past topic titles, maybe- I'm not sure if they are buried within certain topics.

It took me many visits, staying in the house, for me to have had anything not-quite-explainable happen.
You might look at topics that members started about the B&B itself. Good luck!

Oh Jay! There you are!!!

Let me introduce dasdeeboot! Jay is real- we have met Jay. He stayed over one night that Harry and I were there. It was the night those "New Beginnings" folks stayed over. He had already been there what, 5 days? when we got there. He does EVP in the cellar- or he was when we were there.
He's a nice guy and hopefully he will share some of his experiences!!

Maybe Harry will help you with posting pictures? Do you have a website?

That's great - have you captured any EVP's there Jay?

I have watched haunted history before, and Lizzies bed and breakfast has made the list of being haunted. There are people that have stayed in the house, right in the guest bedroom where Abby was killed, woke up to a lady standing over the bed, or so they reported.

I'm not one to believe of things going bump in the night.

I think you should have a website!
Anyway, there is a tutorial hereabouts by members on how to upload photos. There are a couple of ways to do it- so checking topics and deciding the best way for you, would probably work best. Some use Photobucket. I've not used that. I know how to add photos but I do it very differently than others. I don't want to confuse someone who has not done it before.

Can anyone who has done it lately, help? There's plenty of people who know how...

Ive gotten lots of interesting pictures, evps and video....

plus plenty of my own experiences.

Ill try to figure out how to post some pictures up on my days off.. tue/wed

One fun thing that happened, I was up in the John Morse room with my mother and father, and all of a sudden we heard a thump... then a few seconds later a very loud meow, my mother heard it, I heard it.. but my father didnt.

That ghost cat is awesome :D

Wonder if that is Abby's cat that Lizzie allegedly did away with?

May I suggest that you set up a Photobucket account to store your photos? It is free and quite simple to use. You can join at:

http://photobucket.com/

Once you have the photos added to your account it is just a matter of adding the URL to your post for the image you want to show.

That's creepy.... Are you able to email any of your EVP's? I'd love to hear them. I have a friend in Texas that does investigations and sends me some of the EVP's he's captured.

Personally I don't want to hear it!

Gosh you really should design yourself a Lizzie Borden Paranormal Investigation website Jay. I had wondered what you planned on doing with the investigation results.

BTW: I notice your MySpace link - turn down your volume folks!

It says "you dont have permission to personal message someone"

:(

why dont I have permission!!!!

and I didnt think many people would care about a "Paranormal Lizzie Bordens" website.... Its worth a shot tho!

I'd be a happy camper, Jay. You have my vote to build a Lizzie Paranormal website.

You need to have at least 51 posts, which reflect that you are here to discuss the case, in order to move into the next usergroup which gives you PM privileges. Here is the link to the criteria needed in order to move from one usergroup to another:

Another way to post pictures is detailed, step by step, in this thread (see second post by 1bigsteve): viewtopic.php?t=2869

Oops, sorry Jay! I should have known the newer rules! But you had been a member for a long time.

Anyway, what I PM'd you was to reiterate that you set up a site, rather than e-mail members, so we all could share your experiences.

The B&B

My niece and I went to the B&B this past May. Once inside the house, the batteries in my camera drained to empty. During the night, I heard many terrible, heart wrenching moans and a series of short, light footsteps coming into the room, pausing, and then leaving... and it wasn't Shelley. My niece did not hear these things, but she heard a cat. We slept in the same bed...in Emma's room. I had rented Lizzie's room, too, but we were both too freaked out to sleep separately.

Thanks for sharing that. I've always wondered which part of the house has the most activity.

On October 31st, 2007, Lee-Ann Wilbur, co-owner of the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, appeared on the Montel Williams show. She discussed her paranormal experiences with psychic Sylvia Browne.

Thanks to Stefani, we have Lee-Ann's segment via YouTube:

Pretty cool, huh?

This past Tuesday I went to the house, I took some people from work..
It was probably the most active Ive ever seen the house.
maybe because it was a full moon? :)
I have tons of EVPS just from the one night....
maybe I can figure a way to put them on myspace.

I hope you can. Wish I could hear some of them.
